The government should impose monitoring salt content in the diet to combat heart disease, and not allowing food manufacturers to set the level of salt content.
Thus the results of a study of some researchers in Australia.
Eating too much salt increases blood pressure and make people face the risk of stroke and heart disease, chronic illnesses that drain the resources of public health.
“If we rely on companies to voluntarily reduce salt content, there is little advantage, but the benefits of the reduction shall be 20 times bigger,” said Linda Cobiac from the School of Population Health at the University of Queensland in Australia.
In Australia, 94% men and 64% of women consume more salt than recommended. The study also states that nine out of 10 Americans also consume too much salt.
“When salt intake too much, it makes sense for the government to act,” said Cobiac. “For the long term the government can cut costs by reducing the salt content in food.”
The study, released Tuesday (2 / 11) in Heart, published by the British Medical Journal, shows when the company controlling the salt content of foods, heart disease and stroke rates drop by up to one percent. But when the government imposed regulations, the figure is down 18%.
Relying on people to apply self-discipline is less effective method, to reduce heart disease and stroke just as much as 0.5% did so.

As reported the Daily Mail, the scientists found that female brains are low libido behave very differently with their healthy sexual desires.
Women who have a low libido did not have a fast blood flow to certain brain cells when excited. This may explain why these women do not enjoy sex.
U.S. scientists compared the brains of 19 women diagnosed with low libido, or known as sexual desire disorders hipoactive, with seven brains of women who have normal sex drive.
The team from Wayne State University in Detroit is asking all those women watching erotic movies and check their brains using MRI.
Studies presented at the annual conference of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine in Denver, Colorado, found that during lovemaking, the women with a normal sex drive has increased blood flow to parts of their brains. Scientists who study the swine flu found 70 children died within a period of 9 months due to the H1N1 virus.
This case includes the worst death rate in the UK involving minority children and those who have problems with health.
Liam Donaldson, Chief Medical Officer of England said in the Lancet medical journal, children from Bangladesh and Paskitan have a higher mortality rate than white children in the UK related to serious illness and chronic neurological diseases such as cerebral palsy.
“Those who are at high risk of H1N1 vaccination a top priority,” said Donaldson.
World Health Organization (WHO) declared pandemic H1N1 virus until last August killed 18 450 people worldwide, including pregnant women and young children.

Experts say, the H1N1 virus becomes a seasonal outbreak. Therefore, health authorities will run the annual campaign include routine vaccination.

Cancer is a disease caused by manmade factors of modern life, an ancient study has found.
Tumors are rarely discovered until recently when the pollution and diet become an issue, the assessment was based on the mummies, fossils, and classical literature.
A deep understanding of its origin can treat the disease, which claimed more than 150 thousand inhabitants live in the UK.
Michael Zimmerman, a visiting professor at Manchester University said: “In an ancient society minimal surgical intervention, evidence of cancer must remain in all cases.
“The absence of clear evidence of malignancy in the mummy is interpreted as the strangeness of them in ancient times, it shows that the factors that cause cancer is limited to people who are influenced by modern industrialization.”
To trace the roots of cancer, Professor Rosalie David Zimmerman and his colleagues analyzed the references that may cause disease in classical literature and studied the signs in the fossil record and in the mummified body.
Although the tissue slices from hundreds of Egyptian mummies that were preserved and placed under the microscope, only one case of cancer has been confirmed.
Although the experiment showed that the tumor is better preserved by mummification of healthy tissue.
Rejecting the argument that the ancient Egyptians did not live long enough to develop cancer, the researchers showed that age-related diseases such as hardening of the arteries and weakened bones occur.

Head of Food and Drug Administration confirmed Kupang I Nyoman Sumasada instant noodles from Taiwan suitable for consumption so that consumers do not have to worry about with these products.
When contacted via cell phone on Thursday (21/10), Nyoman Sumasada said based on Codex standards Allimentarius Committee – CAC and scientific studies on health risks, instant noodles from Taiwan is not harmful to human health. In Regulation of the Minister of Health No.722/1988 on Food Supplement Ingredients mention methyl p-hydroxybenzoate may be used as a preservative for the product sauce / soy sauce in Indonesia with a maximum usage limit of 250 mg / kg of product.
