
Since the mid 90′s, the internet addictive behavior has been classified as a serious health problem. Recent research has warned of new hazards that threaten the teenagers from the ‘disease’ Internet addiction.
From observations of the Australia-China study of 1618 adolescents aged 13-18 years in Guangdong, China, Internet-addicted teenagers inferred behavior tend to engage in self-defeating.

“Many students have reported the relationship between Internet addiction and psychiatric symptoms of depression among teenagers,” said the researchers in their study published in the journal Injury Prevention.
