Teacher  is the most healthy profession among all professions, including lawyers, doctors, businessmen and others. Mental health of teachers the highest of all professions.

Researchers from South Florida, – who did a survey of 180,000 professional workers throughout the world – that says the teaching profession is more than just a job, but it is a call. The teachers say that what they do is fun because it directly related to the community and environment.

The Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index conduct large-scale survey to determine the relationship between the profession and the health level. By using the definition of health from the world health body (WHO), namely state of physical, mental and social health and well-being, researchers found that teachers are the most healthy profession.

“We are also the moments that are difficult in the field of education. But a good teacher is always a reason to continue to perform their profession without being able to understand other people,” said Ned Oistacher, a teacher from Pompano Beach High School was quoted as saying Sunsentinel business, Tuesday (5/1/2010).

From June 2008 until July 2009, researchers conducted a survey of 180,000 professional workers throughout the world to evaluate his life. Ranging from access to food, emotional health, behavior or bad habits such as smoking, exercise and diet, work environment and physical health.

“Being a teacher is a calling to help others. If I saw it as a job, I probably would not do it. But hanging out with young kids makes me feel young and stay fit and healthy,” said Judy Dennis, a teacher who has taught for 17 years in the Hollywood Hills High School.
